January 29-31, 2010, 50^th Anniversary of Mid Winter Festival, “Golden Jubilee”.  Gary Shoemake calling and Bruce and Kristine Nelson, featured round dance instructors.

 

June 27-30, 2012, 61^st National Square Dance Convention in Spokane, WA.

12/ 6/09 (Sunday);  3:00 – 5:00 PM;  Door Donation is $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for youth (under 18 years), and $16.00 maximum Family Rate. Located at Aloha Grange (3425 S.W. 185th Ave Aloha, OR 97006).  “All Singing Calls”.  Caller is Daryl Clendenin and Cuer is Yvonne Clendenin. (Level: 1-50, plus Ferris Wheel).

 

Sunset Promenaders

12/13/09 (Sunday); 2 - 4:30 PM; Door Donation:  $5.00 per adult (18 years of age or more); $3.00 per child (under 18 years of age); $20 per family maximum. Located at IOOF Hall (Upstairs Hall @ 267 E. Main, Hillsboro, OR 97123).  Harold Kleve is the Calling MC and Ruth Canby is the Cueing MC. (Level: 1-50, plus Ferris Wheel).

 

 

 

 

TVC Meetings are every fourth Monday of the month at Pizza Caboose near Sunset Highway off of 185th at 7:30 for the meeting, 6:30 for eating and socializing.

12/11/09 (Friday).  New Dancer Jamboree.

Held at the Clark County Square Dance Center.  Les Seeley will be calling and Tami Helms will be cueing.  Dance begins at 7:30 PM. Clothing Resale begins at 6:30 PM.  Proceeds from this resale will benefit the Evergreen Council, the Clark County Square Dance Center and the Happy Hopper Club.  Called at level 40 with mostly Phase II rounds.

 

1/29-31/2010 (Friday – Sunday):  Oregon Mid-Winter Festival – “50^th Anniversary Golden Jubilee”

Purchase your tickets/ribbon now.  Cost, if purchased before Jan. 15th: Adult - 3-day festival ($35.00); Adult – Saturday only ($25.00); Youth – 3-day ($15.00); Youth – Saturday only ($12.00).

5/29/10 (Saturday). Evergreen Council Dance.

Held at Clark County Square Dance Center. Jim Hattrick will be calling and cueing this dance.  This is a mainstream dance with every third tip plus.  

 

6/23-26/2010 (Wednesday – Saturday):  59^th National Square Dance Convention in Louisville, Kentucky.  “Louisville Again in 2010”.

 

7/15 – 18/2010 (Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday):  Oregon Summer Festival in Pendleton Oregon, entitled Back In The Saddle Again”

Held at The Pendleton Convention Center (1601 Westgate, Pendleton, OR). A free dance will take place on July 15^th (Thursday); the community will be invited to dance, in hopes to interest people to begin square dancing lessons. Marshal Flippo of Texas and Daryl Clendenin are the featured callers. Ron and Georgine Woolcock, along with Susan Healea, will be the featured cuers.

 

10/30/2010 (Saturday):  2010 Tri-Council Dance. 

Hosted by Evergreen Council.  Featuring The Crew (Randy Dibble, Darrell Clendenin, Les Seeley and Jim Hattrick).  Pre-rounds will begin at 7:30 and square dancing from 8:00 – 11:00 PM. This is a mainstream dance with every third tip a PLUS dance.  Costumes are optional.
