About Us

We are The Tualatin Valley Council of the Oregon Federation of Square and Round Dance Clubs and we are a non-profit organization in the state of Oregon.  Within the council there are eleven clubs.  Within the Oregon Federation there are thirteen councils.

The Councils purpose is:

             1. To promote square and round dancing, clogging, contra, and associated activities.

             2. To foster a spirit of friendship, fun, and recreation, without regard to race, creed, sex, age, national origin or religion.

             3. To provide for and conduct festivals, educational institutes and other organizational meetings as become necessary.

             4. To provide educational assistance for those who wish to organize square and round dance, clogging and contra clubs.

             5. To maintain lists of clubs, callers, teachers and club halls in the council area.

             6. To represent the combined clubs in whatever public capacity becomes necessary with civic groups, community organizations, etc.

             7. To work with all caller associations and other certified or recognized callers for the general good and betterment of square, round, clogging and contra dancing.
